Milestones

Milestones reads your logbook — baseline hours included — and shows exactly what still stands between you and the next certificate or rating.
Milestones

Tracks

Each track is a tab across the top:

How a requirement gets ticked

  • From your logbook. Hours requirements fill themselves as you log flights.
  • From an instructor. A maneuver or a phase item your CFI signs off.
  • From a ground school. A subject your school reports after a class, marked Reported by your ground school.

Turning a track on

Switch a track on in Settings when you start working toward it. Ground school tracks turn themselves on automatically the moment a school accepts you into a course or posts class credit, so you never have to remember.

Upcoming classes

When your ground school publishes an outline for a class you are enrolled in, each subject in it is highlighted on your Milestones list with an Upcoming class badge and the date. Open the milestone and the subject itself is framed with the class date and title. The highlight clears once the date passes.

Study plans

The printable study plan for a track is part of that track's premium. On a free track the button shows a lock and explains what premium adds; free subject tracking is unaffected and stays free. The instrument study plan is included with IFR Insights, since the instrument track has no premium of its own.

Phases

See How phases work — Milestones is a progress picture, not an authorization. Only your instructor and the FAA decide when you are ready.
Training features on the profile: turn each program on independently, and see which premium layers you own.
