Ground school tracking is free and stays free. Ground School Premium is an optional layer you buy per track when you want your instructor's judgement recorded alongside the school's reported attendance.
What premium adds
- Per-subject grading — your instructor grades each reported subject on a five-level scale, so "covered" becomes "understood".
- Instructor comments — a narrative on each subject, visible to you both.
- A readiness record — your instructor can sign a dated Ready for the FAA knowledge test statement. Their name and certificate number are frozen on it at the moment they sign, like an endorsement snapshot.
- Printable study plan — every subject with its grade and your instructor's comments, formatted to print.
- Printable completion report — the finished track as a clean document you can hand to anyone.
What stays free
Everything the school reports — class attendance, subject credit, logbook ground time, the Milestones track itself — is free with or without premium, and nothing is taken away if you never buy it.

If you refund
The premium layer closes and your track returns to the free view. Your instructor's grades and readiness record are kept on file, hidden — if you buy the track again later, they reappear exactly as they were.
A note on classes
