A flight review record captures the date, the ground and flight time, the aircraft, the instructor and the areas covered.

When the review is recorded as satisfactorily completed, the § 61.56 endorsement is generated automatically and filed in your Vault with its own print view. The review also appears in your logbook time in the normal way.

Because the record stores the completion date, your 24-calendar-month currency window is calculated for you rather than remembered.
