Endorsements are created by your instructor and stored in your Vault.
How the wording is produced
You do not type endorsement text. Choose the endorsement category, and Log Scan Pro generates the
standard wording based on AC 61-65, filled in with your name, the date, the aircraft where the
endorsement calls for one, and the instructor's certificate number and expiration.
The instructor adds Instructor Notes for context; the notes are separate from the regulatory
text.
Printing
Every endorsement has a dedicated print view that produces a clean hard copy suitable for pasting
into a paper logbook or handing to an examiner.
History is frozen
A completed endorsement keeps a snapshot of the instructor's name, certificate number, ratings and
expiration as they were on the day it was signed. If the CFI later renews or edits their profile,
your existing endorsement does not change.
