Ground school
Ground school in Log Scan Pro is the classroom side of training: a school or ground instructor teaches a course, posts each class, and the credit lands in your logbook and your Milestones automatically.
In this section
- How ground school works
- Finding and enrolling in a course
- What your school reports
- Ground School Premium — optional instructor grading and printable reports
The short version
- Connect to a school or instructor.
- Open Upcoming Courses and request enrollment in a course.
- The school approves you.
- Each class the school posts writes ground instruction to your logbook and ticks the subjects covered on your Milestones track.
Free, and provider-linked
School-reported tracking costs nothing. The tracks are also provider-linked only: there is no self-study mode, because the value of the record is that a named school reported it. Written endorsements stay where they belong, in Endorsements and the Pilot Vault.
