What your school reports
A posted class writes two things
- A logbook entry for the ground instruction: the date, the duration, the instructor and the course, marked as coming from a ground instructor.
- Subject credit on the matching ground school Milestones track for each subject the class covered, badged Reported by your ground school with the school's name.
Document criteria
Some subjects are met by a document rather than a class. You upload it to your Vault and it counts from there — the file stays private.
What a school cannot do
- Change or delete flights you logged yourself
- See anything in your Vault you have not shared
- Credit a subject on a track you are not enrolled with them for
Reversals
A reversal removes only the logbook row and the subject marks that particular class created for you. Credit from other classes, other schools and your own entries is untouched.
More than one school
If you study with two providers, each reports its own subjects and the badge names which school reported what. See Working with more than one school.
