You own your records
Your logbook, Vault documents, IFR sessions and Go/No-Go reports belong to your account. They are not
shared with a school, an instructor or an insurer as a side effect of anything.
Access is explicit and revocable
- An instructor sees what a linked student's instruction requires, and only while the link exists.
- An FBO sees the operational connection, not your logbook.
- An insurer sees aggregate data about FBOs it insures, and individual pilot data only under an authorization you gave, for the scope and period you approved.
Storage
Certificates, medicals, signatures, logbooks and reports live in private storage and are served only
through authenticated requests. There are no guessable public links to your documents.
Retention
Log Scan Pro prefers archiving over deletion for records referenced by logbooks, endorsements,
reports or audit history. Significant actions — access grants, report orders, downloads and
administrative changes — are logged.
