Booking qualification checks and school review

Solo and rental aircraft bookings are screened using the selected pilot, aircraft, flight rules, dates and passenger/night answers. Check the proposed flight details first: changing them can change which evidence is needed.

Reading the checks

The booking form shows which checks passed and which Need review. Applicable checks may include the school relationship, certificate/category/class, medical, flight review, recent landings, flight-time requirements, aircraft checkout and insurance requirements. IFR, night or passenger plans can require additional evidence.
The screening uses the pilot's own available records for the booking date. Missing, incomplete or unverified evidence does not become a pass. An instructor's ability to read a student's lessons never makes those lessons part of the instructor's own currency.

Staff review

If a blocking check needs review, an authorized staff member must review it and enter a specific reason before proceeding with an override. The decision and a limited evidence snapshot are retained with the reservation. Confirmation checks run again; a preview is not a permanent approval. Imported reservations undergo these checks too.
An override records a human decision. It does not certify legal eligibility, change the pilot's source records, or permit dispatch of a grounded aircraft. Staff see authorized summaries, not unrestricted access to a pilot's logbook or Vault.

Auto-confirm

The school's Auto-confirm setting, any required instructor opt-in, and an aircraft's Always requires school approval setting still apply. Aircraft bookings must satisfy the applicable checks or remain pending.
Ground lessons and instructor-only sessions without an aircraft skip aircraft-based qualification screening. They can auto-confirm when the school's settings and any required instructor opt-in allow it; omitting the aircraft does not by itself force manual qualification review. Normal booking permissions and conflict checks still apply.
The PIC and school remain responsible for qualifications, currency, aircraft suitability and the final operational decision.
