Manage aircraft you fly
Your aircraft list should hold the aeroplanes you fly now, plus any you flew while logging here.
Editing
Open an aircraft to correct the registration, the make/model, the class or the equipment flags. Corrections apply to every flight that points at it, which is the fastest way to fix a whole season of entries that used the wrong type.
Retiring an aircraft
When you stop flying an aeroplane, retire it rather than deleting it. Retiring keeps it out of the Add flight list while every logged flight, report and Milestones credit stays intact. Log Scan Pro keeps records rather than destroying them wherever a record is referenced elsewhere.
Duplicates
Two entries for the same tail number split your time in type and can make a checkout requirement look unmet. If you see a duplicate — usually one you typed plus one your school owns — keep the school's record and move your flights onto it.
Aircraft you don't own
A school's or FBO's aircraft record is read-only for you: rates, availability, dispatch category, checkout requirements and maintenance status belong to the organization. If something there is wrong, tell the school — they can fix it in one place for every pilot who flies it.
