Adding and editing flights
Add one flight
Press Add flight on the dashboard and fill in the row:
- Date, registration and make/model (picked from your aircraft list)
- From and To airports
- The time columns — PIC, solo or dual received, plus cross-country, night, actual or simulated instrument, simulator and ground instruction
- Approaches, holds, day and night landings
- Remarks
Total time is PIC + solo + dual received, and a flight uses only one of those three. Enter the flight the way you would write it on paper and the totals take care of themselves.
Batch entry
Logbook batch entry gives you several blank rows at once — the fastest way to bring over a stack of paper pages or a season of flying. Everything you type is checked the same way a single entry is.
Editing and deleting
Your own rows carry a pencil and a trash icon. Editing recalculates totals, charts, Milestones and currency immediately.
Rows you cannot edit
Two kinds of row are read-only for you:
- Instructor entry — a flight your CFI posted as dual given, or one of your own entries your instructor approved. Approval locks the row to you from that moment, so an approved training record can't quietly change afterwards.
- Ground school — a class session your ground school posted, with the subjects covered and the ground time.
Open either with the eye icon to read it. Only the instructor or school who posted it can change or reverse it, which is what makes those rows trustworthy to anyone reviewing your logbook later. If one is wrong, ask the person who posted it.
