Log Scan Pro — The Smart Pilot's Logbook
The entry form is laid out in three columns so a normal flight can be logged without scrolling.

Flight

Date, From and To airports (type-ahead against the airport database), route, and remarks. Add intermediate stops in the route field.

Aircraft

Choose the Aircraft N-Number from the searchable list. It is required. Category, class, make and model come from your saved aircraft profile, which was built from FAA registry data — you do not type them per flight. If the tail is new to you, add it once from the picker and it is available forever after.

Time

Enter hours in tenths, from 0.0 upward:
  • Total Time is the sum of PIC + Solo + Dual Received. Only one of those three applies to any single flight.
  • Condition time: cross-country, night, actual instrument, simulated instrument.
  • Counts (landings, day/night landings, approaches, holds) are whole numbers starting at 0.

Validation

As you type, the entry is checked against 14 CFR § 61.51. Conflicts appear in a findings panel with a plain-language reason — for example "solo and dual received conflict". See Entry Validation.

Editing and deleting

Open any entry from the grid to edit it. Changes are reflected immediately in the totals, the graph and Milestones. Deleting is permanent, so prefer correcting an entry over removing it.
