Choosing what appears in your menu
Not every pilot rents, takes instruction or works toward a rating. If you own your aeroplane and simply want a logbook, you can put the rest away.
Open Settings → Pilot preferences. Each switch is labelled Show in navigation:
- Schedule an aircraft/CFI
- My Flight School
- Instructors
- Upcoming Courses
- IFR Insights
- Milestones
What switching one off does
It hides the menu link, nothing more. No record is deleted, no connection is ended, and no progress is lost. Turn the switch back on and the page returns exactly as you left it.
What you can't hide
The Pilot Vault, Go/No-Go, Support, your profile, Settings and Sign out always stay in the menu — they are the parts every account needs.
Related
IFR Insights and Milestones also appear greyed out when they are switched off elsewhere in your settings; that is a separate setting from hiding the link. Ground school tracks turn themselves on automatically when a school accepts you into a course — see Ground school.
