Connecting to a flight school
Open My Flight School from the pilot menu.
Finding your school
Search by name or by airport. Schools already registered with Log Scan Pro appear in the list. If yours isn't there, it hasn't registered yet — ask them to, because a school must be registered before instructors and pilots can connect to it.
Requesting
Send the request. A manager at the school approves it, and the school's aircraft, instructors, courses and schedule become available to you.
What you get
- Your instructor can post lessons straight into your logbook
- Course enrollment through Upcoming Courses
- The school's aircraft, with their real equipment and certification details, feeding Go/No-Go
- The school's schedule, if they use it
Schools only
My Flight School is only about your schools: linking one, removing one, and choosing your home school. Picking your instructors and connecting with a ground instructor happen on the Instructors page — there's a link at the bottom of My Flight School.
Hiding it
Own your aeroplane and fly without a school? Switch My Flight School off in Pilot preferences.
Leaving
End the connection when you move on. Your logbook, endorsements and Milestones credit all stay with you.
