Baseline Totals is a single special entry that represents everything you flew before Log Scan Pro.
How it works
Open Baseline Totals from the dashboard and enter your carried-forward hours: total time, PIC,
solo, dual received, cross-country, night, instrument, simulated instrument, plus landings and
approach counts. Save it and the entry is flagged as a baseline record.
- It is added to every total, chart and milestone calculation.
- It is excluded from flight-by-flight views where a single flight is expected.
- It can be edited at any time if you find a transcription error.
What to enter
Use the closing totals from the last page of your previous logbook, as of the day before your first
Log Scan Pro entry. Do not re-enter individual flights that are already covered by the baseline —
that is how hours get double counted.
Keep the old book
Baseline Totals is a summary, not evidence. Keep your original logbook: an examiner or insurer may
ask to see the underlying entries.
