Before check ride, student must log:
Total Time
- 40 hours minimum (realistically 55–75 nationally)
Required Breakdown
- 20 hours dual
- 10 hours solo
- 3 hours night (with 10 night landings)
- 3 hours instrument (hood or Foggles)
- 3 hours check ride prep within preceding 2 calendar monthse.
