Logging a lesson
Log a Lesson writes the flight into your student's logbook and your own in one action.
What you enter
- The student
- Date, aircraft and route
- Times — dual given, and the student's dual received
- Landings, night, instrument and simulator time as they apply
- What was covered, and any maneuvers to sign off
What happens
The student gets a logbook entry marked as posted by you, and the credit flows straight into their Milestones. Ground lessons work the same way, logging ground instruction rather than flight time.
Sign-offs
Maneuvers and phase items you tick are credited to the student's syllabus immediately, attributed to you.
Corrections
If you posted in error, reverse it. A reversal removes only the entry you created for that student — nothing they logged themselves is touched.
If a student isn't in the list
The list includes pilots who saved you, pilots your school assigned to you, and pilots enrolled in your courses. If someone is missing, the most common cause is that the school hasn't assigned them yet.
