Sharing your records
Printing
Print logbook produces a clean copy with whatever filters and columns you have chosen. Totals include your carried-forward baseline hours and say so, which is what an examiner expects to see.
Exporting
Export your entries as a spreadsheet for your own backup or for a form someone else insists on.
Sharing with an insurer or employer
An insurer asking for your logbook does not simply get it. They request access; you authorize it, for a stated purpose, with an expiry date. You can see what was authorized and withdraw it.
One-time reports
An insurer can order a one-time report on your logbook instead of ongoing access. That gives them exactly the report ordered, taken as a dated snapshot, and nothing more — no account access and no continuing view. See Insurance reports.
Snapshots don't change
A completed report is fixed at the moment it was generated. If you later correct an entry, the old report stays as it was and a corrected report is issued as a new version. That is deliberate: a report someone relied on should never quietly change.
What is never shared automatically
Nothing. Your Vault documents, your medical and your logbook go nowhere without an authorization from you.
