Endorsements and flight reviews
Writing an endorsement
Choose the student, the endorsement, and the regulation it is written under. Log Scan Pro fills in your name, certificate number, ratings and expiry, and applies your signature image.
Flight reviews and IPCs
A flight review or instrument proficiency check records the date, the aircraft, ground and flight time, and your credentials. The student's next-due date is worked out automatically and shown in their Vault.
Snapshots
Every completed endorsement, review and check keeps a snapshot of your details as they were on the day: name, certificate number, ratings, recent-experience status, signature, and the school you were working under. When you later renew or change schools, past records do not change. That is what makes them defensible.
Your signature
Upload your signature image once, in your instructor record. It is applied to everything you sign from then on, and stored privately.
Where it lands
In the student's Vault, under Endorsements or Flight Reviews, immediately. They don't have to do anything.
Reading another instructor's work
Open a student and you see all their endorsements, whoever signed them — useful before you sign something that builds on earlier training. Rows signed by someone else are view-only: you can read them, but editing, finalizing and deleting stay with the signing instructor. When a student's list mixes signers, a filter lets you show All instructors, Mine only or the Primary instructor.
Your own page — My own vault (endorsements I received) — shows endorsements given to you as a pilot, not the ones you have written for students. To work on a student's records, select that student; the back button returns you to the instructor workspace.
Keeping your own currency
Your record carries your recent-experience-through date and your certificate expiry, and warns you before either lapses.
