Your pilots
How pilots arrive
Pilots ask to connect to you; you approve. Connections are always student-initiated — no school can attach itself to a pilot's logbook.
Assigning an instructor
Assign a pilot to one of your instructors and that instructor can post lessons, write endorsements and sign off Milestones for them. Assigned students appear in the instructor's lists automatically, so nobody has to go looking for each other.
What you can see
Training records created through your school: flights logged with your instructors, course enrollment and ground school credit you reported, and qualification status relevant to renting your aircraft.
What you cannot see
Their flying elsewhere, and any Vault document they haven't shared. A pilot's logbook belongs to the pilot.
Checkouts and currency
Checkout requirements you attach to an aircraft are checked against a pilot's record before a booking is allowed, so currency lapses surface before the counter, not after.
When a pilot leaves
End the connection. The pilot keeps everything — their logbook, their endorsements and their reported ground school credit — and your records of what happened at your school stay too.
