Limits, aircraft categories and the disclaimer
Aircraft categories today
Go/No-Go has five live briefing types: Airplane, Rotorcraft, Seaplane / Amphibian, Glider and Balloon. Each is described in Specialty briefings. Enter a tail number on Go/No-Go Home and the right one opens automatically.
Not planned
Weight-shift and ultralight briefings are not planned.
Geographic coverage
United States airspace. The weather, NOTAM, airport, airspace and chart sources are US products.
Other limits worth knowing
- A report is a snapshot. It is true as of its data timestamps. Conditions move; re-run at a later review stage if the picture has changed.
- It reads your logbook as written. Missing baseline hours or unlogged flights make you look less current than you are.
- It reasons about the flight you described. A plan that changes after the report was run is a different flight.
- Approach plates are reference only. Fly the current official chart.
The disclaimer
Go/No-Go is a decision-support tool. It does not authorize, dispatch or release any flight, it is not a substitute for an official weather briefing or for your own preflight planning, and nothing in it is to be used for navigation. The pilot in command is solely responsible for the conduct and safety of the flight. The full legal disclaimer is shown with every report.
