Scheduling treats pilots, CFIs, aircraft, simulators and rooms as bookable resources. A reservation
holds the pilot, instructor, aircraft or facility, appointment type, start and end times in the FBO's
time zone, status and approval state, purpose and notes.
Appointment types include rental, dual instruction, solo rental, ground instruction, discovery
flight, flight review, instrument proficiency check, checkout, checkride, and maintenance or
administrative blocks. Double-booking and booking an inactive resource are prevented, and each FBO
can choose immediate confirmation or approval-required booking.
Status: scheduling is being built out. The daily dispatch, weekly and monthly calendars, and the per-aircraft, per-CFI and per-pilot views are on the roadmap. This article will be expanded as each view ships.
