Pilots appear on your roster in one of two ways:
- Through an FBO — a pilot sets their home FBO or school, and the school's instructors become available to them.
- By invitation — an independent CFI invites a pilot directly, or a pilot invites the CFI.
Either way the connection is mutual: nobody is added to your roster, and nobody gains access to a
pilot's records, without both sides agreeing.
What you can see
For a linked student you can see the logbook and training records relevant to instruction, create
endorsements and flight reviews, enter IFR Insights sessions, and post dual given to their logbook.
You cannot see the records of pilots who are not linked to you, and the link can be ended by either
side. Ending it preserves everything already signed.
