From the instructor dashboard, open a linked student and start an IFR Insights session for the lesson. Enter each approach — type, conditions, outcome, holding — and add your evaluation from the curated comment list plus free text.

Preview the session, correct anything, then finish and sign it. The student sees the session in their IFR Insights record as read-only, along with your comments.

Entering approaches at the end of the debrief, while the flight is fresh, is what makes the record worth having six months later.
