Your CFI logbook works like any pilot logbook, with one addition: when you log an instructional
flight, you can post the matching dual received entry to the student's logbook.
- You log dual given; the student receives dual received for the same flight, aircraft and route.
- The student sees the posted entry in their book and can confirm it.
- The queue on your dashboard shows what has been posted and what is still pending confirmation.
This removes the most common source of disagreement between an instructor's book and a student's:
two people typing the same flight from memory on different evenings.
