Registering
Sign up and choose Flight School CFI or Independent CFI. Your application goes to the Log Scan Pro
administrator for approval.
If an FBO has already entered you in their CFI directory, your new login is connected to that
existing record — your history, students and FBO relationship follow you rather than being
duplicated.
Your instructor profile
Complete it before you sign anything:
- Legal name as it appears on your certificate
- CFI certificate number and expiration date
- Instructor ratings held (CFI, CFII, MEI, ground instructor)
- Recent-experience-through date
- Certificate image and signature image
These fields populate every endorsement and flight review you generate, and they are snapshotted
into each completed record.

Once approved you get your student roster, endorsement and flight review tools, the CFI logbook with
dual-given postback, your approach-log entry for IFR Insights, and your rates.
