Aviation insurers
Statistics you can underwrite, without open record access
Log Scan Pro is where pilots, instructors and flight schools keep validated records. Insurers don't browse those records — you order purpose-built reports, and any report on an individual pilot requires that pilot's explicit authorization.

How it works for an insurer
Apply and get approved
Insurer accounts are reviewed before activation. Your application creates your organization profile — company identity, NAIC and state license numbers, and primary contact.
Connect to the schools you cover
You link to an FBO only through a confirmed connection request — either side can start it, and the other side must approve. Nothing is granted automatically.
Order reports from the catalog
Standard reports run against the schools you cover with your own filters, columns and saved templates. See the full catalog below.
Pilot-authorized individual reports
A detailed report on a named pilot is a separately authorized order: the pilot approves the request, and the report is generated as a dated, immutable snapshot. One order, one report — no continuing access.
See the aircraft you insure
Airworthiness, equipment and insurance requirements for aircraft at your covered schools — read-only, maintained by the operator.
Set your requirements
Edit the insurance requirements on covered aircraft from your dashboard's FBO customer grid, so schools always see current minimums.
Why the data is better
Validated at the source
Pilot logbook entries are checked against 14 CFR § 61.51 as they're made — the hours in your reports come from records that were validated when written, not re-typed for an application.
A living system, not a snapshot in a drawer
Pilots use Log Scan Pro for their own logbook, currency, training and Go/No-Go analysis every week — so the data behind your reports is maintained for the pilot's own sake, not once a year for a renewal form.
Exceptions, not just totals
Qualification exception reports surface expired medicals, overdue flight reviews and missing documentation across covered schools — the items that change risk between renewals.
Forward-looking forecasts
30-, 60-, 90- and 180-day expiration forecasts for medicals, flight reviews, CFI qualifications and documents, before they become lapses.
De-identified aggregates
Aggregate and trend reports with CSV export for actuarial analysis — statistics about the portfolio without exposing individual records.
Immutable snapshots
Completed reports are dated snapshots. Later edits to a pilot's logbook never rewrite a report you've received; corrections produce a new version.

The privacy model, plainly
Log Scan Pro was designed so that insurance access never means browsing. That protects the pilot, protects the school — and gives you reports that pilots will actually authorize.
No open record access
Insurers cannot browse pilot, CFI or FBO records. Access exists only through a confirmed organization connection or a specific authorized report.
Authorization is explicit
An individual pilot report is produced only when that pilot authorizes the order. The authorization, scope and delivery are part of the report record.
Snapshots, not surveillance
A delivered report is a dated, immutable snapshot of the data as it stood. There is no continuing access after delivery — a new question means a new authorized order.
