Allowances and completion rules
The free logbook includes basic Milestones for Private, Commercial and IFR — progress basics measured from your own entries. Premium Milestones add instructor grading, comments, readiness and safety flags, signed stage records and printable lesson plans. IFR Insights is the premium version of the free IFR milestones: it adds expanded approach logging, per-approach analysis with training suggestions, and CFI comments. Milestone and IFR Insights purchases remain active until the applicable course is completed. Go/No-Go has no subscriptions or long-term commitments. Your first three reports are complimentary; after that, each report is $4.95. As an LSP Loyalty Bonus, every fifth post-trial report is complimentary.
Report allowances reset with each billing period and do not roll over. A track marked complete stays readable — your records, grades and sign-offs remain in your account.

- Is the logbook really free?
- Yes. Creating an account and keeping your logbook costs nothing, and no payment card is required to sign up. The basic Milestones tracks for Private, Commercial and IFR are part of the free logbook. Premium tools are separate, optional purchases.
- What is the difference between IFR Milestones and IFR Insights?
- The free IFR milestones track the rating checklist and your progress basics — phase ladders and progress measured from your own logbook entries. IFR Insights is the premium version of that track: it adds expanded approach logging, per-approach analysis with training suggestions, and CFI comments on your instrument work. Think of it as the same relationship as the free basic milestones and the premium milestones for Private or Commercial.
- What do premium Milestones add over the free basic milestones?
- The free basic milestones give you self-tracked progress: phase ladders, auto progress from the logbook, training-item selection and personal notes. Premium adds the instructor side — phase-by-phase grading, written comments on each milestone, readiness and safety flags, signed stage records, and a printable lesson plan built around where you actually stand.
- How long does a Milestones or IFR Insights purchase last?
- Until the applicable course is completed. There is no renewal, no expiry date and no subscription — you buy the track once and it stays active through your training.
- How does Go/No-Go pricing work?
- No subscriptions and no long-term commitments. Your first three Go/No-Go reports are complimentary. After that, each report is $4.95, and as an LSP Loyalty Bonus every fifth post-trial report is complimentary. You only pay when you use the service.
- What if I only fly occasionally?
- That is the whole point of the per-report model. There is no subscription to remember or cancel — your first three reports are complimentary, and after that you pay $4.95 only when you generate a report. Every fifth post-trial report is free as an LSP Loyalty Bonus.
- Do the bundles save money?
- Private + Commercial is $79.99 instead of $89.98 bought separately. The Complete Career Training Bundle is $129.99 instead of $159.97 and adds IFR Insights.
- Does my instructor or school need to pay?
- Instructor grading, comments and sign-offs are part of the pilot's premium Milestones track. CFI, school and insurer accounts are arranged separately.
