One instructor record, wherever you teach
Your certificate, ratings and signature live on a single instructor record — flight instructor, ground instructor, or both. What you are called follows your ratings: CFI, Ground Instructor (CGI), or CFI / CGI. Teach at a school, work independently, or both; signed history stays intact no matter how relationships change.
How it works
Apply with your certificate
Instructor accounts are reviewed before activation. If you teach at a school, pick it from the directory — the school has to be registered first, and it confirms you before the workspace opens.
Connect with your students
You see the students of schools that confirmed you, plus pilots who selected you themselves. Pilots always start the connection; you approve it.
Sign into their logbook
Endorsements, flight reviews and instruction post straight into the student's records — ground and flight instruction land in their logbook automatically when you sign a flight review.
Keep a permanent record
Everything you sign preserves a snapshot of your name, certificate number, ratings and signature at that moment. Later edits never rewrite history.

Mark attendance, select the subjects you covered and enter the ground time. Every student present gets the logbook entry and subject credit, and one action reverses the entire posting if needed.
