The form
Enter departure and destination (your home airport is preloaded), the intended departure time, the
aircraft, and route waypoints if you are not flying direct. Add fuel on board with the slider, and
anything you are already uneasy about in the pilot concerns field — the analysis addresses your
concerns directly.
Rotorcraft flights are analyzed differently from fixed-wing; the aircraft you choose determines
which profile is used.
Review stage
Set the Go/No-Go Review Stage to reflect where you are: early planning, day-before, or
final preflight decision. The tone and emphasis of the analysis follow the stage.
Retrieval and snapshots
On submit, Log Scan Pro pulls current weather, forecasts and NOTAMs and stores a timestamped
snapshot. The report you read is always tied to the data as it existed at that moment. Repeated
retrieval for the same flight is throttled — this protects the upstream aeronautical data services
and keeps your report reproducible. If conditions change, run a new report; the old one stays in your
history with its original timestamp.
Processing
A progress bar shows the retrieval and analysis stages. A full report takes a minute or so, because
it is genuinely fetching and reasoning about a lot of data.
Billing and the free-report header
Your first three Go/No-Go reports are complimentary, and the top of the page shows
Free Report 1 of 3 while they last. After that each report is $4.95, and every fifth post-trial
report is a complimentary LSP Loyalty Bonus — a notice tells you when one applies. Once your free
reports are used, the request form stays locked behind the payment notice until the report is
covered. See Pricing, Free Reports and Credits.
Cancel Report and Refund
A Cancel Report and Refund button sits at the top of the page. It returns you to the dashboard
and, if you paid for a credit you have not yet used, refunds it through Stripe. See
Cancel Report and Refund.
Route waypoints
Including a waypoint on or near the center of your intended route of flight improves NOTAM, weather
and warning coverage in the finished analysis.
